A story of Love and Gratitude
Imetame was created out of an entrepreneurial initiative by the young lathe operator Etore Selvatici Cavallieri, when he was still working at the former Aracruz Florestal-ES. At the time, Etore identified a business opportunity in the surplus machining and welding services, which were outsourced, and on August 17, 1980, in a small 50m² warehouse, Imetame Metalmecânica was founded, the Group’s first company, as we affectionately call it “Mother company”.
Since then, businesses have been expanding and diversifying and, currently, Imetame’s headquarters in Aracruz-ES occupies an area of 412,200m² and our employees operate throughout the country.
